1. Scope of Coverage

 

This contract covers the following:

a. Breakdown Cover

  • Unlimited call-outs for mechanical or electrical breakdowns during the contract term.
  • Guaranteed engineer response time (e.g., within 24–48 working hours).
  • All labor costs for breakdown repairs included.
  • Parts coverage (optional: limited, fully covered, or discounted depending on package tier).

b. Annual Servicing 

  • One full service included during the 12-month period.
  • Service includes:
    • Internal and external inspection
    • Pressure and temperature validation
    • Cleaning of key components
    • Software checks and updates
    • Safety and performance testing
  • Certification of service provided upon completion. 

2. Additional Features (Optional) 

  • Loan Autoclave Unit: Temporary replacement unit provided during lengthy repairs (subject to availability).
  • Priority Booking: Priority scheduling for both servicing and breakdowns.
  • Remote Support: Basic troubleshooting and diagnostics via phone or video support.

3. Exclusions

  • Misuse, accidental damage, or cosmetic wear and tear.
  • Repairs due to improper maintenance not following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Replacement of consumables (gaskets, filters, etc.) unless covered under parts clause.
  • Acts of nature (e.g., flood, fire, power surges).

4. Fees & Payment Terms

  

  • Annual payment upfront or monthly instalments.
  • Discounts may apply for multiple autoclaves covered under a single contract.
  • Cancellation terms: typically requires 30 days’ notice with potential prorated refunds. 

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Operate the autoclave as per manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Ensure regular basic maintenance (e.g., daily cleaning, water drainage).
  • Provide access to the equipment during agreed service windows.
